| What is Media Interactive Training (MIT)?
Media Interactive Training is an 'All You Can Learn' training program for D-Tools software. The courses available through MIT are created based on implementation principles designed to help companies implement D-Tools software effectively and realize maximum return on investment (ROI) from D-Tools software products.
Why is MIT so special?
- All You Can Learn - MIT offers a subscribing company (and its entire staff) Unlimited Access to D-Tools training resources.
- MIT consists of (18) different courses from beginner to advanced level topics.
- A live, web based, instructor led training session is offered every business day of the year
- All courses are complimented by the MIT Implementation Planning Flowchart, helping each company to determine which courses to take and what activities to complete for their D-Tools implementation to succeed.
How does MIT differ from other training programs available for D-Tools?
- Since access is unrestricted, MIT subscribers can repeat courses as often as they need.
- MIT offers access to on demand videos, making it possible for you to take training when it is convenient for you.
- New Employees can be trained immediately at no additional cost.
- MIT is designed around the Sequential Learning Process
What is the Sequential Learning Process?
- Traditional training courses pack everything into a 2 or 3 day period.
- Most people can only retain about 30-35% of that information.
- MIT is designed for you to take courses in sequence – allowing you to take training in smaller, more digestible portions as part of an overall implementation and training plan.
Are the trainings taught by a live instructor?
YES. Each course is delivered by an experienced user of D-Tools. This allows for best practices to be shared as well as real world experience, tips & tricks. Each session includes a question and answer period during which you may ask questions of the instructor.
How many times can I take a course?
As many times as you want. MIT provides unlimited access to the scheduled training courses so that you can re-take courses in order to re-emphasize the material and help yourself become a more powerful user of the software.
What can I expect from each course?
Each course consists of a 90-minute training session, using the latest desktop sharing technology from the convenience of your own office. A question and answer period follows each training session. Each class is led by a live instructor.
Why would I want to repeat a course?
- Most of our subscribers enjoy repeating courses in order to help them expand on their knowledge of the program after real world use or further develop their skill set.
- Each session includes a Q&A period at the end, allowing users to interact with a D-Tools topic expert.
- MIT provides a great resource to learn about new software features and releases as they are published by D-Tools.
Where are the courses taught?
All courses are taught using GoToMeeting, an interactive online (internet) web training facility. Each attendee signs in from his or her office workstation to the web session prior to class; calls a specific telephone number for teleconferencing; then views the presentation and speaks with the instructor via the telephone.
Where can I find the class schedule?
The Schedule for all courses is published online.
Is there a recommended orientation course everyone should attend?
